Former X Factor judge Britney Spears has taken to Instagram to call out the “abusive” paparazzi for recent photos they snapped of her. Spears took issue with how she appeared in the pictures, posting another snap of herself in the same outfit.
Earlier this week, the Daily Mail published photos of Spears after she landed at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles following a trip to Mexico. The pop star could be seen wearing a short coral-colored dress and sandals.
Following the publication of those photos, Spears took to Instagram to post a clip of herself posing in the same dress, writing, “The night before the paps got THAT SHOT of me going to my car!!! Same dress and same girl!!!”
Spears went on to write that her “body is not perfect,” but added, “I also know I don’t have cellulite on my legs the way the paps betray me!!!” She also wrote that paparazzi photos tend to make her “look like a different person.”
“It’s honestly abusive because I do feel like one of the most bullied people in the world!!!” Spears wrote of how the photos make her feel. “It’s the truth!!! It’s not healthy for my heart or my health!!!”

In her Instagram post, Spears talked about the potential danger of seeing herself in paparazzi photos. She revealed that she currently weighs 122 pounds, adding, “if I lost anymore weight and was sick and believed those pics I would be in the hospital!!!”
“It’s a sticky conversation because in a world of where vanity rules not one person would believe me!!!” Spears wrote. “Not one person will believe me because they prefer the negativity!!!”
Spears currently has Instagram comments turned off, but fans have been showing their support for the singer by liking the post. Around the same time, Spears shared a video of herself smiling as she rode a horse in Mexico.
