In a red carpet interview at the 2016 Emmys, Emilia Clarke and Sophie Turner, Daenerys Targaryen and Sansa Stark on show, spoke about what viewers can expect when the show returns in 2017.
"It’s ridiculous,” Clarke said. “They topped it. Last season’s battle was ridiculous…There’s another battle that’s epic," the 29-year-old added.

“I was actually speechless,” Turner told E!, describing her feelings while reading the script. “This season is unbelievable and I think fans are going to be really satisfied. It’s crazy," she added.
